As a school Counselor with fifteen years experience in the public school system, I have often had to work with children who display some signs of attention deficit. In many cases, these signs are ambiguous and do not justify a referral for the full, often costly, evaluation.
I have recently discovered checkADHD, an online attention deficit test. I found checkADHDH to be an excellent tool in helping me, and the parents, to quickly check in a professional and discreet manner, whether a child has attention deficit issues. The information provided helps determine whether the child simply needs some help in the school, for example, in providing a distraction-free learning setting, or whether more testing is necessary. I strongly recommend the checkADHD online test as an initial tool in any case where there is some concern about attention deficit-related problems.

The checkADHD test serves me very well in the coaching process. When I discovered that there were some ADHD symptoms in my clients I recommended taking the checkADHD test.
It is a professional preliminary assessment, that is made easy and user friendly since it's over the internet. The results are immediate and come with an easy to understand report.
The results helped me to shorten and focus the coaching process in order to achieve goals.

I would like to share with the readers in general and especially the professionals (didactic evaluators, psychologists, therapists, doctors, neurologists) about my experience with CheckADHD. First, it is important to note that I am not involved with the development team and I am not looking for personal publication. Rather, I would like to explain the significant advantage of using this internet-based software in my work as a didactic evaluator.
Most tools that are available for professionals are self-reported questionnaires that include inventories for parents, teachers, and observers. These tools are important but are not based on standard norms. CheckADHD was developed by senior clinical psychologists and researchers and is a professional opportunity based on norms – an important addition to the subjective tools available.
The detailed report (including graphs) is generated immediately after the test is completed, and thus streamlines the diagnostic process and facilitates the work of the evaluators in writing of reports.
In summary: For me "CheckADHD" has become a significant tool in the process of ADHD diagnosis and I would recommend all professional evaluators to use it in addition to the tools available to them.
